Since we recently discussed favorite library blogs, I was hoping to get some feedback (and participation!) on our new online book group. If your library has an online book group, I'd love to hear about your experiences as well.

Memorial Hall Library (Andover, MA) has launched Book Talk, a new online book discussion group. Book Talk is a community of readers who discuss one book each month on an online message board. Members post answers to discussion questions and share opinions about the books much like a face-to-face group. Members can recommend titles, both in print and in audio, and then vote to select the upcoming discussion titles. Other book-related discussions take place throughout the month.

Book Talk was designed for readers who enjoy discussing books but who may not be able to attend an in-library book group. Readers everywhere are invited to join Book Talk!

For more information or to join Book Talk visit http://www.mhl.org/booktalk <http://www.mhl.org/booktalk> .

If you have any feedback, please write to me on Book Talk or email eclasson at mhl.org <mailto:eclasson at mhl.org> .

Thank you,

Emily
