For anything currently in copyright, I've found that
Google Books works best as a "super-OPAC"; that is,
you can search and get hits on things that are not in
catalog records....(then you have to use Worldcat to
find a print library that might have the book....not
necessarily a bad thing.)

The snippet view is annoying, mostly because the
snippet shown is so small, and often doesn't show what
you searched for.

Full page views, when available, are usually pretty
decent. Some of them are limited in resolution, so the
text stays fuzzy, even if you zoom in...
