There's one thing I like about bureaucracy -- I know who I report to, 
and who THEY report to, and so on, because the hierarchy is clear-cut. 
When a problem comes up, there is no "I wonder which team member is in 
charge today" dilemma.

I've also noticed decisions can take as long to be processed with a 
team/committee as in a hierarchical bureaucracy.
