POSITION: SUPPORT SERVICES COORDINATOR



DEPARTMENT: Support Services

POSTING DATES: THURSDAY, 11/01/07 - TUESDAY, 11/20/07

SALARY: $3,670 per month (Pay Level 10), with annual COLA and
performance increases possible

BENEFITS: Social Security, retirement, medical, dental and optical
insurance; paid vacation and sick leave, EAP, and a fun and innovative

UNION: Membership in AFSCME, AFL-CIO Local 1581 required commencing not
more than 30 days after employment

WORKING HOURS: 40 hours per week, flexible schedule during regular
business hours. Successful candidate may be required to adapt to future
schedule and/or worksite changes depending on library needs.

LOCATION: Library Central Services, 5205 Northwest Drive, Bellingham, WA
98226 with occasional travel to WCLS Branches. 
Serving as the county seat of Whatcom County, and with a population of

DUTIES: Directs and guides the Support Services department which handles
acquisitions, cataloging, serials, and processing of Library materials
system-wide, Interlibrary loan, and the processing, handling and
delivery of library materials to and from system branches and the
Bellingham Public Library; serves as a member of the collection
development selector's group.
