[Publib] Official NBA Guide

If any Libraries are wondering where the Official NBA Guide for
2007-2008 is to be found, it not available in book form.  The last one
published was for the 2006-07 year.  Their Official Baseball Guide for
2007 was also discontinued.  Apparently Street & Smith bought out
Sporting News and proceeded to discontinue these excellent sports
reference books in favor of magazine versions.   

 

I trust that many thousands of sports fans across the country are now
looking for the Official NBA Guide for 2007-08 at their library or in
book stores.  You might suggest that they call those responsible for
eliminating this important reference book (704-973-1300) and voicing
their concern.  Maybe these books can be resurrected at some point in
the future.
