Hi Val,
All patrons have the same card- a regular card plus a key tag. We
differentiate with patron profiles but at our library, we don't restrict
access to anything.
Our mascot is Waddles and he is a Penguin.

Subject: [Publib] Separate library cards for Children and teens &
Mascots
We are looking at changing from a "one card serves all" library patrons
to having separate cards for children, teens and adults. I'd like to
know from anyone already doing this to share their wording on the cards
- do you call it a "Kid Card" or "Teen Card" etc. and anything else
relevant to making this a success. (or problems you've encountered.)
Also, do you have a mascot? If you do, what is your mascot?
Thanks in advance for your help!
