[Publib] Trouble in the LA library.

Sue,
I'm willing to talk about it. Here in my library we don't have security
guards, and for the most part, security isn't an issue.  I know this
because (1) I work the ref desk once a week, (2) I often back up circ
when they are busy, and (3) my assistant director's office (my old
office) is right behind circ and we have a direct line of site to the
door and beyond. Now we are a smaller community with a way too small
building. That's not to say that we never have any problems just that
for now, we are able to nip in the bud before problems become huge.
