[Publib] Adult graphic novel collection

Greetings -

I'm wondering if there is any update on this question....and if Wynita or
anyone could address how this collection would make one more nervous. Is it
because they are less "traditional" and other patrons may not support the
purchase? Is it because the material can be more "adult" as far as sexual
contact?

I'd like to see a collection development policy if anyone does have one.

Thanks,

"Hello to everyone,

Does any library out there collect graphic novels for adults and will you
send me a copy of your collection development policy for this area? We
already collect for juveniles and YA, but are expanding to adults. However,
we are more nervous about this collection for adults and would like to put
something in writing before we jump into buying. We'd love to see some
examples. Thank you so much for your time and assistance. You may send
samples directly to my email address at w.worley at fuse.net
Also, I'll be happy to share them or our end result. Simply send me a
message if you want.
