[Publib] libraries pre-selling 7th Harry Potter book?

I'm curious whether any libraries are pre-selling the 7th Harry  
Potter book and how librarians feel about this. I know that the  
Decatur Public Library is pre-selling it, as is the University of  
Texas at Arlington library. I was approached by Barnes and Noble  
about pre-selling the books at my library but my supervisors shot the  
idea down. I'm not sure it's a great idea, but I'm not sure it's a  
terrible idea, either. What do others think?
