[Publib] ALA-APA seeks conference booth volunteers

Hello everyone, I hope you have had a chance to start filling in your
conference "must-dos" and have an hour here and there where you can
volunteer with ALA-APA.  We will be "front and center" in the
registration area and we will have a raffle from the booth for exciting
prizes (TBD).  This is an incredible opportunity to inform your
colleagues about ALA-APA's certification and pay equity efforts and rest
your feet!  We are especially needing volunteers at these times:  
Friday 10am-noon, 3-5pm;  Saturday 11am - 3pm; Sunday 11am-noon, 2-5pm;
and Monday 10-11am and 1-5pm.  
 
Please email me with your availability by Friday, June 1st with your
availability.  Your help will be most appreciated. Thank you.
 
 Volunteers will be expected to:
 
 × staff the booth at agreed-upon times
 × answer questions about ALA-APA's certification and salary 
 advocacy work (we'll provide you with information)
 × sell raffle tickets
 × hand out promotional materials
 × accept cash or checks for donations
 × call Jenifer Grady at 312-343-2069 if there are any problems
