[Publib] Kansas Storms

Robert and all,

The library address is listed as South Main St. News reports are that
downtown Greensburg is gone, so surely the library is, too.

ALA coordinates disaster relief efforts through the Chapter Relations
Office. Frequently the state library association will collect funds,
too. I'm sure that the KLA and Kansas State Library staff are just now
getting into the office and figuring out what will need to be done.

What they'll need is MONEY. What they won't need are BOOKS.
(Suggestion: hold a booksale at your library and send the proceeds to
the designated disaster-relief recipient.)

Subject: [Publib] Kansas Storms

Greetings,

Weather has devastated another community. Major storms struck Kansas.
According to news reports about 95% of Greensburg, Kansas was damaged.

Their local library website is still
working:

http://www.bigwell.org/library.html

Do we have a mechanism to help?
