Yes, we subscribe to the free service.  As someone already said, it can be
slow.  But, the fact that we have access to historical newspapers has been
great.  It does include some New York Times issues, for instance.

Has anyone signed up for free access to this outfit, Access
NewspaperARCHIVE? It is a historical newspaper database, newspapers from
1759-1977, excluding those in your home state. In order to have current
newspapers and include your home state papers you have to pay. It's only
available through the library's computers.
