If curbside service
is to be modeled after the old-fashioned drive-in restaurants, then
wearing shorts by library staff would be *de rigeur*.  Of course,
curbside service would have to be dropped in the winter, in colder
climes, because shorts then would be un-de rigeur, and I don't know that
I've ever been to a traditional drive-in that sported curbside servers
in anything but shorts.
