	Subject: [Publib] Performance Reviews

We are tweaking the annual performance evaluation process in our
library, which is a city department and consists of a single unit. There
has been a suggestion that managers' evaluations should consist of a
peer review process, or a 360 degree process, rather than a simple (?)
top-down review by the individual's supervisor. Does anyone on this list
know of a library which does this kind of evaluation, and which would be
willing to share some information on how they structure their employee
reviews?

(Personally, I'm with Deming on reviews, but we live in the
world...)
