I can remember when one could pick up tax forms at a bank.
I haven't checked closely, but my post office has at least the federal forms.

st1\:*{behavior:url(#default#ieooui) } Let me be a little contrarian here. Nothing could make me happier than making tax forms available when every other government office has failed at that mission. When I provide crucial medical information to people whose doctors have failed them, or important nuggets of legal information to folks how cant afford to hire attorneys, I dont ask whether those people will come back tomorrow or next week and check out books. I dont even ask if they have a library card. I consider it a part of my job, and done best when I am the last bastion of that help handed out for free to members of the public who need it. They do pay our salaries, even though I dislike having someone remind me of that as much as anybody. Perhaps the country is in the process of moving from paper tax forms to electronic filing, but it will be a long time before many people have made the transition. I want to be remembered as the place that helped when nobody else would. Tom Cooper, DirectorWebster Groves Public Library301 E.
