[Publib] assistive devices for the handicapped.

Hi Folks,

The Bedford Public Library System is looking for assistive devices to make a
library visit more comfortable and successful for our handicapped patrons.
Do any of you have lighted magnifiers or other items for in house use?  Have
you tried anything in this area that has been a great success or totally
bombed?

We are asking for help from state government resources etc but wondered if
anyone out there had practical experience to share.

Our own budget resources are limited, but we are investigating grant sources
as well.
