At the Benzonia Public Library, our new "Tuesday Book Chat" has a roundtable
format where each participant tells the rest about the book he or she has
read. This way, we are all being introduced to a variety of genres. It's
fun.

Subject: [Publib] Book Discussion Group

Good Morning
I am a library student, new to this listserve. I am
in charge of a book club that is among a few of my
close friends. The issue I am dealing with is that I
tend lose attendance if I select a book that is not
your typical 'chick-lit' style of book. Does anyone
know of any ways for me to introduce and create
excitement in reading books in other genres (i.e.
nonfiction, or more thought-provoking books)?

Thank you!

Erin
