I would like to thank all who responded to my recent query.  The general 
consensus seemed to be that although a second degree wouldn't do any harm, 
it wouldn't be all that advantageous either, even if I wanted to work in an 
academic library.  Everyone suggested experience was a more important 
factor, either as an intern, volunteer, etc. and in terms of school, all 
urged that I concentrate on the technical aspects above all others.

Again, many thanks to all of you.  I will, due to your responses, take every 
technical course being offered and try to find work in a library as soon as 
possible.
