had arbitrarily send the annual swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated
to all institutional subscribers without the photos. Is this true for
your institution? I know the issue is contentious in school
libraries, but this seems awfully drastic and raises a lot of
intellectual freedom issues for me, if it is.
This doesn't disturb me as much as if they censored the swimsuit issue of
Library Journal. By the way, if you did remove the pictures from the Sports
Illustrated swimsuit issue, you'd have about ten lines of text and some beer
ads. I'd check on the source of that information.
