I have learned through experience that "true books" means something very
specific to a lot of people, at least in these parts of North Carolina.

Customers have often come in asking for "true books" and I have learned
to ask follow up questions to find the specific subject that they are
interested in. "True books" means specifically true crime (364.1) and
nothing else to many of our customers.
