[Publib] Advice on employee slackers in the library

Hello all,

I am in library school, but I also work in a public library at the Circulation Desk. I need some advice on what to do about working with a slacker, (and from my knowledge this type of work behavior has been ongoing) especially, after I have made efforts to inform all Circulation staff and the manager about the problem to no avail? The bulk of the work is imbalanced and this person's shirking of duties has not gone unnoticed.

This position has been beneficial to my real-world experience in a library setting, but the stress of being teamed on the desk with this person is starting to take a toll mentally, physically, and leading to my just not enjoying going to work because of that person. I am really considering the possibility of leaving as a result? Any advice is appreciated.

  Thanks,
