I was so thinking the same thing ... here is Lucky 
in this situation where she is hearing all the 
"hit rock bottom" stories at an AA meeting and no 
one mentions that!  I am reading the book, by the 
way, and it is really wonderful.  It would be a 
shame for a child that might enjoy or be immensely 
helped through a hard time to miss it if one word 
will keep it off a shelf.
