If you must host your own email, you should look into the many free
open-source solutions available. Appliances are generally the priciest and
least flexible solution to IT problem.

Subject: [Publib] At Mail Appliance

Hi everyone. I'm in search of a new email server and it was suggest to look
@Mail Email Appliance at atmail.com I'm wondering if anyone in library land
uses this appliance and what your take on it is. I'm in desperate need for
an appliance that will handle spam and email efficiently. Our current email
server is on it's last leg and I'm afraid any day now I'm going to come in
and poof it will have gone up in smoke.

Thanks in advance for any advice because to be honest I probably won't be
able to thank everyone individually. This of course came at a very
inconvenient time as we begin a renovation next week!

Thanks again,

Melissa
