[Publib] Anatomical parts revisited--but this is slightly different

As if life weren't bad enough, today I found in my mailbox a DVD which
the head of tech services was processing. I ordered it; it's *my*
handwriting on the order card. The DVD came from B&T. No doubt I read
the blurb, saw that it had Billy Bob Thornton in the cast (people around
here seem to go for ol' Billy Bob), and that it was unrated. We get the
DVD and on the front cover it proclaims, "UNRATED *BALLBUSTER* EDITION."

Ahem.

TS head points out that the last time we bought one of these deceptively
labeled/not labeled titles, there were patron complaints, and what do
"we" want to do? We do, by the way, buy R-rated films and do not
restrict anyone by age, size, religion, relative proportions and shape
of nose, those born via natural childbirth over against products of
c-sections, or anything else that might be considered politically
correct, politically incorrect, politically neutral, etc., etc., etc.

So I guess that "we" will make a decision. (Just call me Harry S.
Truman, because the buck--and *ballbusting* DVDs--stops here.) In light
of recent discussions on publib, I find this very timely.

Meanwhile, I wonder how one discerns, when something is listed as
"unrated," whether or not it's run-of-the-mill unrated or ballbustingly
unrated. I think I'm missing a piece of the link in
the...whatever...here.
