We went with a recycled rubber flooring that comes in a variety of 
colors. Hard, easy to push carts on, quiet, easier on the feet than 
most, cleanable, seals well. We allow food and drink in this section 
of the library. Noise too. Other parts of the library has less 
relaxed rulesets. You can see photos of it at
