I have to agree with Terry on the pros.

Cons: Rogue access points, patrons downloading high bandwidth content
(music, pron) and slowing down the internet speed for other users on
network. Both problems can be fixed with software like BlueSocket.

Pros - Cheap, popular, 24/7 access, has allowed network expansion to
parts of the building where it would be too difficult to run cables.

Con - none that I can think of yet - & we've been wireless for 2 years.

What are some of the pros and cons of its use in public libraries?

Thanks in advance!
