[Publib] LIS students questions

I'm an LIS student, but I've joined several listservs on my own.  I work as a reference assistant in a public library and I wanted to learn more about librarianship.  I thought even if I only lurked, there is much to be learned.  (It's funny, because I thought that's what the other LIS students were doing, never a clue it was a class assignment).  I ask about stuff that comes up at work and in class.  To me, it's like having professors to the nth power.  It's good to see, too, yes, you have the same problems as our library does, or, you've solved something we've been working on.
