Not mentioned on Nicole's wiki or other posts on this thread as yet is the
following, the Economic Benefit Study for nine southwest Ohio libraries, a
report from the firm of Levin, Driscoll & Fleeter in Columbus, Ohio. It
purports to show that libraries "create an annual economic impact of
nearly four times the amount invested in their operations" (as per its
introductory press release, Dec. 1, 2006):
