Karen,

What do you know about the community college population
in Murphy that would lead you to this conclusion?

On another somewhat off topic note, I joking related to
a reference made by Lynne Ingersoll regarding the prevalence
of self-declared bow-tie wearers and feminists on this
list.

This is the web site of a family friend:

http://www.madusa.com

She is a former championship wrestler, raises wolves, has
eight Harleys, drives a monster truck, and is very successful in
entertainment. She is also a very nice person. BTW, my
brother's band Hoss is playing in the background.

Is she a feminist by the definition people are using
to describe themselves on publib? I have
heard men describe themselves as feminists and I thought
that I knew what the term meant during the sixties and
seventies. However, I am at a loss to understand what
feminist means today.

If I were to design a community college library from the ground up, I might
well see just how paperless we could make it, simply as a friendlier service
model: keeping the physical space for giving students a place to work,
chill, and congregate, while delivering e-resources wherever, whenever...
might be ideal for this population.
