I checked out Little Women so often when I was a kid that the
Children's Librarian used to call me to return it. LOL Still one of my
favorites. I love all three of them. Was very disappointed when I did an
author study on Alcott in undergrad and found out those where her least
favorite of all the books she read and the she only penned them for the
$$$. :-( Still enjoy them though.

I can't stand Jane Austin, period, nor any of the Little Women
series.
It's not the author so much as it is the time period and
customs.. I could never picture myself living that kind of limited life.
