I have worked for years to get my now 19-year old daughter to at least concede to "dudette." She rolls her eyes every time. LOL!

My response:
When one is the parent of a teen, you may also be called dude, even if you're mom. LOL I always patiently (or almost patiently) remind my 13 year old son that I am not a dude. :-)
