Oh yes, the great World Series celebration and Halloween blizzard! I
watched men try to push the snow from the dome. A bunch of tough
winterloving people from Minnesota!
They were tied to the top of the dome and pushing the snow off with so
the whole thing wouldn't collapse.
I guess several roofs did fall that time.
We went to the last of the meetings in a cab. (Who thought to bring a
winter coat!) The driver promised to get us there and back if we
promised not to scream ;-)
It was a blast. My flight was canceled, and the rest of the day I spent
eating peanuts and watching hardy souls on skis going up and down the
interstate ramps....shovel, shovel, shovel, push, shove, etc. and get a
stuck car back on the ramp only to do it all over again.
