As a long-time observer of all things American, I just love
"all-a-y'all". Nothing says it better.

As someone with an appalling memory for names, all children and teens
are "my dear" to me; parents accompanied by children are "mother" or
"father"; and the rest I don't bother addressing. "Sir" and "Madam"
stick in my craw.
