There are ways of getting from LAX to ANA that are better and less expensive than a cab.

* I believe there are shuttle/vans that serve Orange County from LAX. As it gets closer to conference time, check with SuperShuttle (http://supershuttle.com) or Prime Time (http://www.redvans.com).

* For those who don't have a lot of luggage, there's a flyaway bus service to Union Station. From there you can get a train that will let you off at the Anaheim station. I believe the hotels may have free shuttles from the station.

There *are* other attractions in the area besides Disneyland/California Adventure. The Anaheim/California Angels (I refuse to call them the LA Angels of Anaheim) may be at home that weekend. The stadium is fairly close to the hotels so a cab ride won't break the bank.

People will probably kvetch about the weather. Be forewarned: Southern California can be hot, smoggy, and/or humid in June.

The hotels form a "campus" with the Anaheim Convention Center. It may be possible to walk between hotels and the convention center.
