I have Pergo flooring at home.  It looks great and is very durable, 
but it's exceedingly slippery when it's wet -- like water on ice.  If 
you'll have people coming in from outdoors during a rainstorm, 
they'll be skating on that floor, unless Pergo has changed its formulation.
