Barbara, I'm curious as to how you found the query.   According to the
PubLib archives it was posted on April 2, 1997!

"Marco Comes Late" by Dr. Seuss can be found in Treat Shop (Treasury of
Literature series) by Eleanor M. Johnson and Leland B. Jacobs -
published by Charles E. Merrill Publishing Co. 1954 (First Edition), but
also in many subsequent editions over 35 years.
