LJ listed one called Verdant www.veerdantmag.com <https://mail.mppl.info/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://www.veerdantmag.com> that will be starting in the fall. It appears to focus on products, advice etc. rather than politics.

Greenlight Magazine is pretty good too, but I can't figure out without contacting them (or spending more than 3 minutes poking around on the website) whether or not it's available in print. It looks like it's a digital publication. You can preview the magazine online, though, and generally access past issues free. They also have a great FAQ section for environmental questions (ie "is there a biodegradable carwashing soap that's ok for storm drains?" [answer is apparently "no"]).

very nice (global) content. and, unlike utne, mother jones, etc., it doesn't read like an advertising/lifestyle magazine. highly recommended!
