[Publib] Hard job search

Dear Publibers:
   Why is it so hard to find a job in the library science field. I have been with no job for 2 and half years, are any one of you in a similar situation.  I would be very interested in knowing if you are and I would love any suggestions and how to get out of it. is it our economy or something else. Thank you
