Oh, every single trek back into the stacks where I get to hand them the
book they're looking for is rewarding. They are so grateful, especially
since they thought it wasn't there. (And I'm secretly so pleased that
whatever it is isn't missing.)
And the delayed satisfaction transactions-- where we identify something we
can get them from interlibrary loan and Exactly The Right Book(s) will
shortly appear like magic-- are not too shabby either.
