[Publib] APA Work

I agree - This is important headway. Many local-level library
organizations have/can use these benchmarks. The FL local chapter of
AALL (law librarians) has a policy of publishing only employment ads
that included the salary above a particular amount. - It is a start -
& So what if 40K goes farther in some areas? - That would certainly
attract many librarians to settle in that area - subsequently giving a
little library some quality, competitive applicants... & general
competition overall between small/large library systems....Great work
on this Michael! - It *will make a BIG difference in the long run,
IMHO. `Jjust need to make sure it will include an integral periodic
update/review of the 40K level.[so that it isn't 40K, 5 yrs from
now..]
