Hello YA/Teen Services librarians,
I am interested in interviewing public librarians who work with teens for an article for a
youth-oriented magazine such as Jane or Seventeen. I'm trying to find librarians who both
offer library services that might seem unusual to teens, and who would appear to a teen to be not the usual librarian
stereotype. I'd love to hear from:

1) Librarians who work with teens in programs that an ordinary reader would consider surprising for a
library to offer, such as songwriting/recording music, web design/video production, graphic
novel authorship, etc.
2) Librarians who work with teens who break the stereotype of a what typical librarian looks like or acts like: for example, a librarian with piercings, tattoos, multi-colored hair, skateboarding champion, etc.

If you fit that description, or you know someone who does, would you please email me and let
me ask you a few more questions? thanks.
