Hello Publib/Webjunction List,

My name is Nancy. I've been following various discussions on the list for
some time now but never had the 'chutzpah' to write.  Bibliophile I am;
librarian I'm not (unless my messy personal library counts).

I'm involved in education, training, human resource consulting and software
development and marketing. Admittedly, I joined the list because I was
interested in how libraries schedule their staff and enjoy the sprightly and
well-written discussions.

I am part owner of a young privately held company that provides staff
scheduling software. Since I am trying to design a scheduler that can answer
various organizations' professional requirements, I'd love to hear whether
you use scheduling software, paper-based scheduling methods, or spreadsheet
scheduling. If you agree, I'd appreciate your input in helping me learn
more about the type of scheduling software you'd like to see available for
your library staff, including functionalities and interface that integrates
with any other software you have.

The scheduling software my company produces is available for free download
at http://www.kappix.com. If you'd like to try the software program,
DRoster, and give me your feedback, I'd be delighted to engage in a
discussion about your needs and bring your requirements to my research and
development team.

I hope list members do not take offense to my request but rather view it
favorably.

Thank you much and looking forward to your replies.

Sincerely yours,

Nancy Berger
