[Publib] Names for self-check service?

I  had the same thought when I read this line.  I would think 
consistency might be considered a positive in this regard.  The thread 
caught my eye as self-check may be bid as part of a library improvements 
project that has just gotten underway at the Madison Heights Public Library.
