Hi!
Our Circulation supervisor came up with the name: Express Check
Out, and usage has really taken off. Usage of our 4 machines has
increased every month.

Subject: [Publib] Names for self-check service?
Hello all, and happy new year!
As part of our RFID conversion project we are preparing to roll out
self-check units at all of our service points in 2007 - we've never
offered self-check to customers before, with or without RFID. We're
trying to come up with a name for the stations and the service:
something catchy, memorable, and descriptive.
I'm curious: what do other libraries call their self-check
stations/services? (We're not looking to copycat... quite the opposite,
in fact.)
Please reply off-list. I'll gladly compile responses for any and all who
are interested.
Cheers!
Adrienne
