We have a local western writer who writes "clean" westerns. They are wildly popular at our libraries.
His name is Dusty Rhodes (fitting for a western writer) :) http://www.eclectics.com/dustyrhodes/
And, Robert J. Conley is one of my favorite authors. I don't look for cleanliness in books,
but can't really think of any language or sex in his westerns. He also writes Cherokee specific
books.
