[Publib] Dewey phase out

I'm not sure if this is what he was referring to...but I know some
libraries are considering the "marketing" technique and the idea of
organizing their collections as bookstores organize theirs. If
bookstores don't need the dewey system and can still shelve & find
books...why do libraries (I'm not saying I agree...I think that's just
one side of the argument!) Any thoughts?

While Dewey has its limitations, it's the best devised
so far. If this Jeopardy guy knows of a better way to
classify human knowledge and achievements to date, I
wish he'd let us know.
