[Publib] Rettig steps to the plate

It seems that starting librarians in Virginia's Blackwater Regional Library  
System are paid the stunning salary of $21,280.  ALA Councilor and ALA  
Presidential Candidate Jim Rettig has sent a letter of protest to the  Newport News

In his letter Rettig mentions the new minimum salary level for librarians  
recently approved by ALA-APA Council.  Thanks Jim.  This is exactly  what we 
need in our leadership.
