[Publib] Questions about circulating DVDs to teens

We have no restrictions here either, however I would have to wonder at the
wisdom of purchasing WILDER, CRAZIER type videos or almost anything UNCUT.
I am pretty sure even if I wanted to buy that type of video, (setting aside
our collection development policy and my personal choices) that my staff and
my patrons would probably wonder if I had gone around the bend. There is
little, if any value to such videos and IMHO purchasing them is just asking
for problems - complaints and challenges, thefts by those wanting to keep
them and by those not wanting anyone else to see them, etc.

Trying to not sound snobbish, there certainly must be something "better" you
could buy?? Perhaps old episodes of Gillian's Island or the Mod Squad?
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped
Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies, Mars Attacks!, or perhaps Plan 9 From
Outer Space.

Does your library circulate DVDs to teen patrons?
