I am a public library administrator, my volunteer "passion" is recording for our local Recording for the Blind and Visually Impaired. We are one of the sites recording for our state. Between the collection of the Recordings for the Blind..Library; and a local library collection; and a state interlibrary loan collection, I would think most of this would be available. If that is not the case the Recording for the Blind will record class reading for a very, very minimal expense. We regularly record text books for local students who are dyslexic.
We have recorded the local firefighters manual for dyslexic firefighters hoping to pass the tests for job advancement. One of the first things our group recorded was the Texas driver's manual for an individual with no hands (to turn the pages) needing a driver's license for a handicapped equipped vehicle.
Your patron may need some physician's verification that he/she has a visual impairment. (And not all visual concerns qualify.)

Hi
I have a patron who is attending a community college. She is sight
impaired and I was wondering if there is anyone out there who is
recording classics such as Agamemnon, Medea or Electra. I would
appreciate any help. Thanks again for everyone's help.
Joan
