One thing I've discovered about the new Seattle main --
it certainly makes people take photos!  Whether the
reason is architectural excellence or the "Oh my God,
look at that" factor I shall leave up to you.

The library map appears in numerous Flickr photostreams.

You can see the infamous one-way escalator at
the center, running from Levels 5 to 10.

I note that library administration caps the building,
on Level 11.

Here in my home city, Phoenix, our 1995 main
library building has admin on Level 3, with the
building topped by the Great Reading Room on
Level 5.

Maybe our sense of hierarchy here in the Big
Burrito should be commended -- We put readers
at the top!
